We are looking to recruit two dynamic and enthusiastic people to work full time at our flagship new almshouse, Appleby Blue in Southwark Park Road. Working to support a brand new cohort of residents,  the role involves providing our  older residents with just the right amount of support to ensure they get the most from their homes and their lives.

Reporting to the Resident Support Manager, the post holders will play an important role within the newly created Appleby staff team, working collaboratively with the Centre Manager and Community Kitchen Manager.

This position requires candidates who really enjoy working face-to-face with a variety of people from all backgrounds. They will need excellent team working skills and be focussed on supporting the older people they are working with. They will also need the aptitude to help look after this beautiful new building, ensuring it is safe and well maintained. The role holders will underpin the fundamental ethos of the charity which supports older people in leading happy, healthy, independent lives in a kind and caring community.

Other charity staff are based at our Head office in London Bridge where the post holder will occasionally need to attend meetings or training. All travel expenses will be met by the Charity.
