We want to fund proposals that meet our 3 themes and which benefit the people living and working in Southwark.

Unfortunately we can’t fund:

  • Proposals where the majority of the target group is living or working outside Southwark
  • Individuals (including sole traders)
  • For-profit private companies
  • Local authorities and public bodies (including schools)
  • Purely religious activity
  • Political or animal welfare activity

Although it’s not a hard and fast rule, we are increasingly trying to support local (rather than regional or national) groups, those on the smaller side (under £500k turnover), and groups which are user or BAME-led.
