Musicity involves the creation of extraordinary pieces of music, written by local people, and inspired by some of Southwark’s unusual buildings.  Our very own resident, Shamus Dark, has created the music for Hopton’s with many residents featuring on the soundtrack.   Young people from our longstanding partner, The Salmon Centre, have also created a track with the help of a professional producer, inspired by Southwark Cathedral.

The person behind this amazing project is Radio 3 music presenter Nick Luscombe, and United St Saviour’s has provided support through our Community Investment programme.

Visit the Musicity website for information on the project, the various locations in north Southwark, and how to listen
