We are delighted that this line of enquiry resulted in the development of a ‘Civic Strength Index’, funded by the GLA and produced by the Young Foundation which was launched last week.
Broken down into twelve domains under the three themes of relationships and social capital, democratic engagement and public and social infrastructure, the Index demonstrates the components of civic strength in London’s neighbourhoods and reveals the complex intertwining of factors that contribute to civic life locally.
