Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers (SDCAS) is an organisation that exists to protect asylum seekers, refugees, and other migrants living in Southwark from destitution, to enable them to access their rights, to promote their health and welfare, and to help them develop (or regain) the skills to integrate into the local community.
They do this by providing holistic services for asylum seekers and refugees based in Southwark through 3 day centres in the borough, each of which is open one day a week. They provide hot lunches, advice and support around health, immigration, education and employment, and a range of social and wellbeing activities.
We have awarded SDCAS with two years of unrestricted funding to continue to support asylum seekers and refugees in Southwark.
