Residents visit the seaside

From art deco buildings to electic market stalls, there was so much for residents to see and enjoy on their seaside day trip to Worthing. The fabulous sunshine enabled residents to dip their toes in the sea, after refreshments on Worthing’s ‘Pier of the Year 2019’. A traditional fish and chip lunch was followed by a stroll around the market while admiring the town’s fabulous historic buildings.

United St Saviour’s arranges regular trips for its almshouse residents who advised us that they would like more days out to complement the regular social activities that take place at St Saviour’s Court.

One resident said “I really enjoyed the St Saviour’s Court visit to Worthing – particularly the market. There is so much to do here and I can’t wait to come back.”
