The Southwark Mayflower 400 Fund was launched in January 2019 by United St Saviour’s, British Land and Southwark Council to support local projects celebrating the themes of migration, tolerance, enterprise and community and which commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower sailing from Rotherhithe to America.

A free grants workshop will be held between 1pm and 3pm on Monday 4th February 2019 at T&T2 Surrey Quays,  Unit 16/17 (‘The Hub’), Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, Redriff Road. SE16 7LL. The workshop will provide information for community groups on:

  • details of the new Southwark Mayflower 400 Fund
  • how to apply for a Mayflower 400 Fund grant; and
  • demonstration of Flexi Grant online application portal.

The session is for community groups, tenant & resident associations, charities, social enterprises faith groups and schools that operate in the SE16 area, or wider SE1 area as relevant to the Mayflower sailing.

On completion of the information session participants will:

  • Understand the priorities of the Mayflower 400 Fund
  • Understand how to apply to the Mayflower 400 Fund within the online Flexi Grant portal.
