United St Saviour’s Charity is thrilled to introduce Appleby Blue, an exquisite new almshouse nestled in the heart of Southwark Park Road. The London Borough of Southwark holds special nomination rights for fifty percent of the homes at Appleby Blue. If you’re a Southwark Council tenant or know someone who is, you might be interested in bidding for this fantastic development. There are still a limited number of homes available for eligible applicants. To get started, you just need a bidding number from the Council and to be registered for sheltered housing bids.
Priority will be given to those looking to downsize from larger properties, and eligible individuals might also qualify for a cash incentive alongside their new home.
The remaining homes include one-bedroom flats and a comfortable two-bedroom residence, perfect for couples or single sharers. The properties are advertised every Thursday on the Homesearch website (www.southwarkhomesearch.org.uk) and bidding closes at midnight on Sunday’s.
