United St Saviours is excited to announce the opening of its Large and Small grants programmes: large grants (starting from April 2024) and small grants (starting from November 2023).
We welcome applications from those who are working in Southwark and focused on the following themes:
– Strong, resilient communities: connecting, enabling, and strengthening communities
– Positive ageing: reducing isolation and increasing wellbeing amongst older residents
– Levelling the playing field: targeted and life-changing support for population groups disproportionately experiencing social and economic disadvantage
Large Grants Programme – requests above £3k
The large grants programme is open twice a year and we have a two-stage application process. The first stage is the Expression of Interest with the closing deadline on 24th September. If you are successful at this stage, you will be asked to complete a more detailed application, and a more in-depth organisational assessment will be carried out.
We will consider proposals for both unrestricted grants and service or project based grants. You can see the types of organisations and projects we have most recently funded here.

Small Grants Programme – requests below £3k
The deadline for submission will be on 16th October at 5pm. We will aim to let you know the outcome of your application by late October.
